I’m Back!

Hey Steepers!
Sorry to leave you hanging for so long! Life has gotten a little crazy lately with working, plus taking an online course and enjoying my friends and boyfriend. But I will be back more regularly now that I’m done school officially for the summer and my hours at work will be more steady now so I hope to hear from you all. I guess I’ll post some pics of the tea hauls I’ve had since I last posted anything as well as what I plan to post for the future weeks.

To start off I am having a smoothie for breakfast with:

-2 bananas

-1 cup greens (spinach & chard mix)

-2 Handfuls of Frozen strawberries and blueberries

-1/2 cup greek yogurt

-1/2 cup almond milk (any milk/mylk of choosing will do)

-2 tbsp sunflower seed butter (any nut butter you like)

-2 tbsp chia seeds

-optional matcha or protein powders etc…

*makes 2 servings*

I am also having my DT Cream of Earl Grey with a hint of sugar and some Organic Cream and finishing off the pitcher of DT Raspberry Mojito tea that was in the fridge (with extra raspberry leaf tea bags, good for female ails, PMS etc). Some hauls over the last little while: So I bought the straw iced tea mug for the frequent steeper $1 tea of the day plus I figured the carabiner clip would be helpful for the festival season and hikes. As well I bought the iced tea starter kit for two reasons. It gets you 15% off loose leaf tea all summer so I’ll stock up before September, and I wanted a steeper for iced tea and lattes. I also loved the bicycle mug and wanted a more summery mug. Then I bought the cocktail collection, 59g of pom tango and strawberry colada and 100g of grilled pineapple ( I really dislike this tea so I will sell 1 50g sealed bag to anyone who likes it!) also everything was 25% off with the promo code DTEA! Good until August! I also got samples of shirley temple, pure chai and strawberry rhubarb parfait.

I also did Β little temporary organizing until I find the right shelf or coffee cart for all my tea. Every thing is sorted in baskets by type (greens and oolongs, black teas, herbal/caffeine free rooibos teas, and Steeped Teas. one basket of random teas and tea bags, a little box of samples and a bed tray (vintage mushroom print, belonged to my great grandma) with seasonal fall and winter tea tins underneath and commonly used teas on top plus my fave teas/ most drank and summery iced teas in a little box on top of the fridge in the kitchen. I also put all my tea balls and spoons in a little pencil holder.

I guess thats all for now. Stay tuned for more!

Happy Steeping!

xo Kayla
